Agatha Christie

What sort of mystery review blog would this be without a page dedicated to the Queen of Crime? And she is the Queen, in my opinion, not one of four. From what I’ve read, Margery Allingham and Dorothy L Sayers certainly come close and also from what I’ve read, I genuinely have no idea why Ngaio Marsh is always included in that list. Christie is a cut above all of her contemporaries in my book – when she was on form (by no means all of the time), nobody could touch her. So here’s my bibliography of reviews. Note that I’ve only included the novels for Poirot and Miss Marple and for the other books, I’ve only linked to those that I’ve reviewed. There will be more to come.

Hercule Poirot

If you’re interested, there is also my Poirot Top Five post.

Miss Marple

And again, there is my Miss Marple Top Five. It needs updating since re-reading the series, but it’ll do for now.

Tommy and Tuppence Beresford

There are five Tommy and Tuppence novels. Not great and sometimes confusing, but I like them.

  2. ,I must ask, how is your Poirot reviews going? I’ve seen some new reviews (Death in the Clouds) so i’m guessing this hasen’t been updated yet.
